Likes Old Movies: Them: Yes ___ No ___
All right, I admit it! I’m a die-hard romantic! I love the old movies. The one where there’s a real love story. Bogie and McCall style plots.
I have known a lot of men who don’t like movies unless there are at least ten people being killed, buildings being blown up and some form of destruction every three minutes.
I would rather stare at the wall than watch a movie like that. The whole time I’m watching it I’m thinking about how much money and property they wasted.
I’m one of the few people that didn’t enjoy Jurassic Park. I walked out of that movie so tense and I couldn’t stop thinking about those poor kids being frightened by the dinosaurs. I know they are meant for entertainment, but I don’t feel entertained when I end up that tense!
What if he can’t stand the “chick flicks?” The romantic,” guy gets the girl every time” kind of movie.
Can you imagine not being able to share a movie together? It would seem so lonely. So how would you compromise? Take turns seeing the movies that you each didn’t care for?
Maybe there’s a middle-of-the-road that could be agreed upon.
