Numerology is any of many systems, traditions or beliefs in a mystical or esoteric relationship between numbers and physical objects or living things.
Numerology and numerological divination by systems such as isopsephy were popular among early mathematicians, such as Pythagoras, but are no longer considered part of mathematics and are regarded as pseudomathematics by modern scientists.[1][2] This is similar to the historical relationships between astrology and astronomy, and between alchemy and chemistry.
I have studied many personality recognition techniques and I discovered Numerology in the mid 90’s. I thought it was fairly accurate and another tool that helped me have a better understanding of people and why they acted the way they did and said what they said.
It was also a great insight on my own idiosyncraties. Although most of us don’t recognize our own quirks, I spent a great deal of time comparing my own behavior to others and always wanted to know why I seemed so different from most of my friends.
Numerology gave me great insights and has proven a wonderful tool over the years to help me neutralize the judgment I might have had when people acted out in a way I was not comfortable.
