Personal Activities
We all have activities that we prefer. We all have things that we don’t like to do. We are fortunate that the previous suppositions of gender related attitudes about activities no long exist.
I remember watching a sitcom where they had just read a self-help book dedicated to helping singles create unique methods of finding dates. The ladies all signed up for the auto mechanics class. Of course there were no men in the class. They were in the Chinese cooking class looking for the women.
What would happen when it came time to admit that the women had no interest in mechanics and that some men only set foot in the kitchen to raid the icebox or turn on the microwave? I have one brother who is a gourmet cook and another that would starve if someone didn’t bring his food to him.
One of the best places to meet someone when you’re single is by doing all of the activities that you enjoy. That way there is a greater opportunity to meet someone who is interested in the same things that you are. You know you both are comfortable in the activity.
